Before they were even called Montrose, Sammy Hagar, Ronnie Montrose, Bill Church and Denny Carmissi were invited to perform on a KSAN FM radio show in 1973. Introduced as Ronnie Montrose and Friends, the powerhouse quartet blew the doors away. You can hear the mass appeal, arena rock future ahead of them in the performances of soon-to-be hits like "Rock Candy", "Bad Motor Scooter", and, of course, "Rock The Nation".
