The new 2026 version of the first Quiet Sun album âMainstreamâ available in a CD + Blu-Ray deluxe hardcover mediabook package containing a variety of listening options, and in a single vinyl LP gatefold format containing the 2026 new mix.
Quiet Sun was an English progressive rock band formed in the late 60âs at Dulwich College in South London which broke up in 1971. In 1975, during a break in Roxy Music's touring schedule, the original members reunited to record their only album, "Mainstream."
Though short-lived, their experimental approach and technical proficiency later earned them recognition as an influential cult band in the British progressive music scene.
The album, âMainstreamâ, also features Brian Eno and Ian MacCormick (aka Ian MacDonald, ex-Assistant Editor, NME, and writer of âRevolution in the Head â The Beatlesâ Records & the Sixtiesâ)
